Located in the Rockwood area of Chesterfield County, we are a 24 acre farm offering the literal fruits of our labor – by the glass.
We offer a delightful variety of hard ciders for your enjoyment in our outdoor setting or tasting room. Nestled in the heart of the Richmond Metro area, Providence Farms is more than just a cidery—it’s a celebration of community, sustainability, conservation, and the natural beauty of our farm. Founded by John and Allie, a husband-and-wife team, with a shared love for great cider and the land they cultivate. Our cidery is built on the belief that the best flavors come from the finest ingredients.
Every apple used in our cider is handpicked from local Virginia orchards, ensuring only the freshest, highest-quality fruit makes it into our blends. From our crisp and refreshing Classic Dry to our small-batch farm-to-bottle creations, we’re dedicated to crafting ciders that delight the palate and spark connection.
Our tasting room offers an inviting space to explore our ciders, unwind with friends and family, and take in the scenic views. We are minutes from the city, but miles away from ordinary! With 15 of the 24 acre farm available for walking trails, dog walks, and appreciating the wonders of nature, there is plenty of room to spread out and enjoy a beautiful afternoon.

Carolina Avenue, a place called home, was where Great-Grandma Mattie served food made with love. The Carolina Avenue food truck follows in Mattie’s tradition of cooking food made with love – forever gluing the family together.
